Flip Calvi (Misterflip) is an Italian DJ and producer, born in 1960 in Sardinia, in Olbia. He began with the advent of Private Radio in Italy in the mid-70s and has always followed the world of dance and Funky sounds closely. Thanks to the experience of radio he has a wide musical culture but he too has always looked for new sounds and experiments. At the end of the 80s the love for house music and electronic music, but also with acid jazz and the first phenomena of hip hop. In the meantime, console work, the protagonist of the clubbing revolution in Italy, grows in prestige: Nottambula, Ripping and Cafe dell’Orso the most iconic of exclusive summers on the North East coast of Sardinia. In 2001 he moved to Thailand and founded Asiagroove, the first party house and deephouse in Southeast Asia and is resident on Fridays and Saturdays at the Jazzit in Bangkok (Royal City Avenue). In 2005 he will be resident at the Buddha del Mar in Sardinia and will start a series of productions with Motibus Rec by Giangi Cappai, he will create a podcast listened to all over the planet: Soulful Invaders. Since 2016 he has lived in London where he founded Soulful Invaders Records. He collaborates with Hielo Records by Gass Krup and MOD by Franz Roccaforte.

Born as a Podcast on House music on different platforms, it has transformed into an artistic container that has become a record label and a street wear and clubbing brand.
